Harris Health Financial Assistance Program
The county program that makes Harris Health clinics and hospitals low-cost or free. Formerly called the Gold Card. This is usually the first thing to apply for if you live in Harris County.

- Who can go
- You must live in Harris County and your household income must be at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level.
- What to bring
- Photo ID, proof of your address, proof of income for the last 30 days, and immigration status documents for you and your family. U.S. citizenship is NOT required, and expired USCIS documents are accepted.
